
The Agriculture and Environment Magazine signs cooperation agreement with IWEDI
04/07/2025TN&MTOn July 3 in Hanoi, the Agriculture and Environment Magazine, led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Dao Xuan Hung, paid an official visit to the Institute for Women Entrepreneurs Development International (IWEDI) for a working session aimed at formalizing a strategic partnership.
Representing the Magazine were Dr. Dao Xuan Hung, Editor-in-Chief; Ms. Hoang My Nghia, Acting Head of the Administrative Division; Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Deputy Head of the Editorial Department; along with several reporters and editors from the Magazine.
From IWEDI, the delegation included Ms. Hoang Thi Hanh, former Deputy Minister and Vice Chairwoman of the Committee for ethnic minority affairs, currently a Senior Advisor to IWEDI’s Scientific Council; IWEC Chairwoman Le Thi Minh Hoa; Dr. Dao Trung Hieu, Standing Vice President of IWEDI; Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy, Vice President of IWEDI; Ms. Pham Thi Mai Phuong, Director of the External Communications Center and Vice Chairwoman of the International Council of Women Entrepreneurs; Dr. Luong Thu Hang, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Oriental Applied Research and IWEDI Scientific Council member; and other members of the Institute.
This visit followed a productive working session on June 27 at the headquarters of the Magazine, where both parties held candid and constructive discussions. The two sides explored opportunities for cooperation and reached initial consensus on several strategic directions, especially in areas where they have shared strengths.
During the meeting, participants openly exchanged ideas and emphasized the strong potential for collaboration across a range of areas, including media and communication, sustainable agricultural development, women’s entrepreneurship, training and capacity-building, policy research, market linkages, and the implementation of social responsibility programs.
Dr. Dao Xuan Hung emphasized the Magazine’s commitment to scientific research and communication efforts that support the development of a circular economy, sustainability in agriculture and the environment, and the broader business community.
IWEDI Chairwoman Le Thi Minh Hoa expressed her strong belief that the partnership would enhance the role of women entrepreneurs in innovation, agricultural startups, and green, clean, and sustainable development.

The highlight of the session was the formal signing of a memorandum of understanding between Dr. Dao Xuan Hung and Ms. Le Thi Minh Hoa, outlining the shared cooperation agenda between the two institutions
The working session concluded in a warm and open atmosphere, marking an important step toward closer integration of communication, research, and practical initiatives between two organizations united by a shared vision and values

According to the plan, on July 26–27, 2025, the two institutions will co-organize a series of community engagement events. The agenda includes: the “Green Memory” program honoring fallen heroes and recognizing families with meritorious service; a tree-planting campaign under the “Green Pagoda” program at Truc Lam Thien Phu Pagoda (Phu Nham Commune, former Nghia Lo Town), initiated by the former Natural Resources and Environment Journal in 2021; and a cultural forum to promote Suoi Giang tea branding and explore sustainable development strategies for the local specialty in Lao Cai Province.
