TN&MTOn September 25, in Yen Bai ward, Lao Cai province, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the high-quality medical examination and treatment complex - Huu nghi 103 General Hospital, with HYH Group as the investor.

The event marks a significant milestone in HYH Group’s strategy to develop a high-quality healthcare system in the Northwest region of Vietnam. Over more than 20 years of development, Huu Nghị 103 General Hospital has established itself as a pioneer in high-quality medical services, boasting state-of-the-art facilities, advanced medical equipment, and a team of leading doctors and healthcare specialists in Vietnam.

Since its early days, Huu Nghi 103 General Hospital has been a trusted healthcare destination for residents of Lao Cai province and neighboring provinces such as Phu Tho. With an experienced medical team, many of whom have worked at central-level hospitals, the hospital receives hundreds of patient visits daily, achieving a patient satisfaction rate above 97%, with all patients willing to return.

In addition to its core medical services, the hospital implements numerous charitable programs, including free medical check-ups and medication for disadvantaged communities, families of policy beneficiaries, and war veterans. Its health insurance policy allowing direct access to high-quality medical services without a referral has also benefited thousands of patients.

Over more than a decade, Huu Nghị 103 General Hospital has expanded from a small clinic to a large-scale facility, continuously upgrading techniques and training medical personnel. The development of the high-quality medical complex in Lao Cai represents a strategic step to extend the modern hospital model, reduce the burden on central hospitals, and meet the increasing healthcare demands of the public.

The new facility will have 350 beds, integrated infrastructure, advanced equipment, and an experienced medical team, promising safe, effective, and internationally standardized healthcare services. The project is being implemented in partnership with reputable construction, design, and medical equipment providers to ensure that the facility meets international standards while being sustainable and user-friendly.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Cong Han, Chairman of HYH Group and CEO of Huu Nghị Quoc Te Joint Stock Company, emphasized: “During the construction process, we are committed to ensuring safety, timely completion, and quality to meet medical examination and treatment needs for the public. In the first phase, the hospital will be built with a total of 350 beds, and later expanded to 500 beds. Notably, the high-quality medical complex will be equipped with modern machinery and devices to enhance healthcare services for the community.”

Once completed, Huu Nghị 103 General Hospital – Lao Cai will become a key facility in HYH Group’s high-quality healthcare network, helping to ease the burden on central hospitals while improving medical service quality and public health in the Northwest region.

Founded in 1993 by Dr. Nguyen Cong Han while he was still a student, HYH Group began as a small clinic in Hanoi with a single staff member. Today, the group has grown significantly, operating multiple systems in Vietnam and the United States under four main brands: Dr. HAN Hospital, Dr. Han Beauty Center, Dr. Han City, and Dragon Tea Suối Giàng.
