Artichoke Flower Bud

One of the square’s most iconic features is the massive Artichoke Flower Bud, a 15-meter-tall sculpture made of spiraling steel frames covered with yellow and green glass panels, representing the vibrant petals of the artichoke flower. This structure serves as a bright, unforgettable symbol of the Dalat landscape and the city’s unique vegetation.

This 20-meter-high sculpture spans an area of 1,200 square meters and is designed to resemble a towering wild sunflower in full bloom. Inside, it houses a modern art space with seating for 1,500 people, ideal for cultural performances, conferences, and events. The design, with its tilted angles and smooth curves, evokes the petals of the wild sunflower and creates a striking visual from every viewpoint within the square.
