Composed by musician Nam Cuong, the song "Rung khoc" won the second prize at the Vietnam Musicians Association Awards 2023. Over the years, climate change and human activities, such as deforestation, have caused erratic weather patterns, leading to the destruction of thousands of hectares of forests in Vietnam. Forest fires have become a serious national issue that requires a stronger collective effort from both governmental bodies and the public through specific and clear actions to protect the forests. This concern was a major inspiration for Nam Cuong to create the meaningful song "Rung khoc".
