TN&MTOn the evening of December 5, at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 officially commenced.

Attending the event was Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Tran Hong Thai, emphasized that this year’s festival is a series of events held across the province, running until December 31, 2024. The festival features unique, diverse, and innovative cultural and artistic activities of international stature, aiming to honor the Da Lat flower industry and the cultural and humanitarian values of the people of Lam Dong.

A spectacular artistic performance on the opening night

Under the theme “Da Lat Flowers – A Symphony of Colors,” the opening night delighted tens of thousands of residents and visitors gathered at Lam Vien Square with a spectacular feast of music and lights.

Throughout the program, a radiant symphony unfolded, portraying a captivating Da Lat filled with vibrant colors and fragrances, bustling with festive atmosphere and cheerful melodies resonating across streets and corners.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highlighted that this festival reaffirms Da Lat’s status as Vietnam’s Flower Festival City, a UNESCO creative city in the field of music, and one of the “Top 5 impressive festival cities in Asia.”

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also expressed confidence in the Party, local government, and people of all ethnic groups in Lam Dong Province to continue upholding patriotism and unity, overcoming challenges, and advancing alongside the nation into a new era of growth and resilience.

The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 features a wide array of events, including a floral exhibition space, wine, tea, and coffee streets, a flower street parade, and vegetable and flower markets. These activities will take place in Da Lat City and other locations in Lam Dong Province and will run until December 31, 2024.
