TN&MTQuang Binh has recently been named one of the 13 most beautiful destinations in the world by the renowned American travel magazine Travel+Leisure. Known as a paradise of caves, Quang Binh is further distinguished by Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases the region's stunning natural resources and biodiversity.

Travel+Leisure has curated a list of dream destinations for travelers, encompassing breathtaking locations across Europe, Asia, and Africa, where nature, culture, and architecture intertwine to offer unique experiences found nowhere else. Vietnam, praised as an ideal tropical retreat, has captured the hearts of Travel+Leisure editors, and Quang Binh, in particular, stands out as a beautiful locale in Vietnam where visitors can lose themselves in an array of caves, rivers, and streams.

The magazine highlighted Quang Binh as a dream destination for travelers, describing Vietnam as an ideal tropical getaway that has captured the hearts of Travel+Leisure editors.

Travel+Leisure extolled Quang Binh as a picturesque locale where tourists can explore countless caves, rivers, and streams. Towering mountains and a lush, diverse flora and fauna system make Quảng Bình seem like a paradise. This destination promises an escape to pristine and peaceful nature.

Notably, visitors to Đong Hoi, the province’s central city, will experience the local community's harmony with nature. This is exemplified through distinctive local dishes such as snakehead fish soup, eel vermicelli, and bánh bèo (water fern cakes).

Through winding roads and legendary rivers, visitors will discover the enchanting Phong Nha-Ke Bang, home to Son Doong Cave – the world's largest cave – and a diverse ecosystem. This region, with its colossal and mysterious caves hidden amidst pristine and majestic nature, is sure to be a perfect destination for adventure enthusiasts who love kayaking, cave exploration, hiking, and camping.

Previously, Lonely Planet, a leading global travel guide publisher, also highlighted Quang Binh, naming four out of the six most worthwhile destinations in Vietnam. These include Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Sơn Đoòng Cave, the Tú Làn cave system, and Thiên Đường Cave.

Lonely Planet describes Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park as a world heritage site with a magnificent cave system and diverse biodiversity. Son Doong cave, the world's largest cave, offers explorers the chance to uncover spectacular and mysterious natural landscapes. Thien Duong cave is renowned as one of the most beautiful caves in the world, featuring unique stalactites and stalagmites. The Tu Lan cave system provides an excellent adventure experience with its underground rivers and unique cave network.

According to the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh, the recognition and praise from prestigious magazines and global media channels will open up numerous opportunities for promoting and attracting international tourists to the province's tourism sector.
