17/09/2024TN&MTOn September 13, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai visited and gave Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of members of the Lam Dong Provincial Blind Association, as well as children currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital.
Accompanying him were the Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Director of the Department of Health.

At the headquarters of the Lam Dong Provincial Blind Association, Chairman Tran Hong Thai expressed deep sympathy for the challenges faced by families with disabilities and their children. The Chairman and his delegation also visited and gave gifts to 78 children receiving treatment and rehabilitation at Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital.

He also expressed his appreciation for the dedication and professionalism of the hospital’s medical staff and acknowledged the challenges faced by the parents.

He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the parents, noting that instead of attending therapy sessions with their children, they had brought them to join the Mid-Autumn lantern festival. Understanding that this provided the children with a joyful experience like any other child, he recognized that not everyone is born fortunate. He urged parents to maintain hope and confidence, both for themselves and their children, to help them integrate into society, receive an education, and ultimately contribute to the nation. He emphasized that the efforts of those less fortunate are always highly respected by the community.
