Minh Long signs strategic partnership with IBF Vietnam at the Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Forum 2025

TN&MTAt the recently concluded Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Forum 2025 held in Singapore, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between Minh Long (Minh Long Technology Development & Import Export Joint Stock Company) and the International Business Federation (IBF) Vietnam. The MoU was signed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen, Chairwoman of the Board of Minh Long, and Ms. Dang Minh Anh, Chairwoman of IBF Vietnam and CEO of the Institute for Innovation and Digital Transformation (VIDTI), under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.

Under this strategic agreement, IBF Vietnam will support Minh Long in expanding its market presence, seeking investment opportunities, and establishing strategic partnerships, particularly in Singapore and more broadly across Southeast Asia. This collaboration forms part of IBF Vietnam’s broader “go global” strategy, which aims to help Vietnamese enterprises expand internationally through a network of experts, advisors, and regional connections.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen, Chairwoman of Thang Long Group, emphasized: “This partnership between Minh Long and IBF Vietnam marks a significant milestone in expanding our strategic relationships, thereby enhancing Thang Long Group’s competitiveness and sustainable development. The collaboration will boost exports of Minh Long’s key products, including seafood and other goods, to major markets such as Singapore and across Asia.”

She further noted that the agreement not only facilitates the expansion of export markets but also opens up cooperation opportunities in finance, logistics, and technology transfer. “This is a strategic step in the context of deepening global economic integration and underscores our proactive approach to exploring international markets,” she added.

Minh Long Technology Development & Import Export Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Thang Long Group, was recently nominated for the Top 10 ASEAN Strong Brands 2025. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen has also been nominated as an “Outstanding ASEAN Leader 2025.”

A strategic move to expand export markets promises new opportunities for both enterprises

Also at the signing ceremony, Ms. Dang Minh Anh remarked: “This partnership with Minh Long Group represents a convergence of shared values—strong execution capabilities and a desire for global integration. IBF Vietnam is committed to being a strategic companion, empowering Vietnamese enterprises to confidently expand into international markets.”

The Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Forum 2025 and the 9th ASEAN Strong Brands Announcement Ceremony concluded successfully in Singapore, attracting leading businesses, economic experts, and regional leaders. The event, held annually by the Asia Business Development Research Center in collaboration with international organizations, aims to foster economic, trade, and investment connectivity across the ASEAN bloc.

The 2025 edition of the forum took place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, reaffirming its status as a premier platform for networking and collaboration among regional enterprises and thought leaders.
